The Department of Special Education at the University of Utah (https://special-ed.utah.edu/ ) seeks an outstanding individual for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to begin Fall 2023. The individual will have a history of demonstrated competence in teaching, research, and service associated with differentiated instruction, behavioral assessment, and multi-tiered behavioral supports for children and students with and at risk for disabilities in a variety of settings, including public schools. This faculty member will be expected to 1) engage in interdisciplinary research with a behavioral focus, ranging from the implementation and evaluation of targeted and individualized instructional and behavioral interventions and 2) assess broader impacts of programmatic behavior support systems and professional development within multi-tiered systems of support in schools, districts, and agencies.
