Overview

Reporting to the Library Department Chair and the Dean, the successful candidate candidate will join the University Library faculty and our efforts to modernize, expand, and enhance the library and its operations. They will work with the College of Education, which the Psychology and Counseling programs are housed. This college is one of the fastest growing academic units with multiple advanced degree programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the faculty to develop holdings (physical and electronic) that will support the current and future programs and expanding doctoral offerings. They will also develop courses in library and research for this college and teach as needed.

A new library building is currently the number one priority in the recently approved facilities Master Plan for the University. In the meantime the successful candidate will assist in our plans to develop a separate College of Education Library within the current physical layout of the library.

We are looking for visionary, enthusiastic, and dedicated candidates who will commit to the library mission here of, "Enhancing Education Through Research." This is a tenure track position and the successful candidate will have opportunity to serve in various faculty committees across the campus.
