Overview

The psychology program invites applications for up to two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor
in the area of Clinical or Counseling Psychology, beginning Fall 2023. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and
service has prepared them to support our shared commitment to diversity and excellence. An active research agenda in the field and
engagement in service at the institution will be expected of the candidate who joins our department. The research specialty area is open.
Candidates from traditionally underrepresented groups and those individuals with a history of and commitment to mentoring marginalized
populations are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred: Candidates should be licensed or license-eligible in psychology or a closely
related area in the state of Texas. Candidates will demonstrate the ability to establish an active publication record; engage in service
activities at the university; utilize inclusive teaching methods that promote equitable learning environments for student success; and teach
across multiple course modalities. Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in their specialty area, as well as Research
Methods and/or Statistics.

Qualifications

Candidates must have received a Ph.D. in
clinical/counseling psychology or a related applied discipline from a regionally-accredited institution by the time of employment.
