The University of Wisconsin-Madison's Department of Educational Psychology seeks highly qualified candidates for a tenure track position who are able to contribute to the department's expertise in human development. Expertise in adolescent development is particularly desirable. Particular attention will be given to scholars whose research, training, and teaching addresses fundamental processes of human social development that relate to modern issues faced by youth in community and educational settings. in the area of ethics of computing, data, and information.

This position will be an academic nine-month, tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in August 2023.

The Department of Educational Psychology's mission is to advance education-related theory and methodology; to improve knowledge about the biological, psychological, technological, and social processes of learning, development, and mental health in diverse populations; and to enhance learning and mental health in educational and community contexts through innovative educational interventions and effective prevention/intervention programs.

The Human Development Program Area is housed within the Department of Educational Psychology, along with programs in Learning Sciences, Quantitative Methods, and School Psychology.
