We are seeking to fill two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology to begin August, 2024.

Expanding Our Program:
We are excited to announce that we are hiring two new faculty members to expand our program. One position will focus on Substance Use Disorders, which will play a crucial role in helping us to establish a new certified substance abuse counselor concentration within our program. The second Quantitative Methods position will contribute to enhancing our research-focused curriculum. These positions will play a key role in shaping the next generation of mental health professionals and will contribute to our mission of providing a transformative educational experience, preparing students for meaningful careers in mental health counseling. he University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo is characterized as a comprehensive, regional university. Scholarship and research are an important part of faculty work and student engagement, but the primary focus is on providing high-quality baccalaureate and limited postgraduate education.
