Governors State University’s College of Education invites applications for a tenure-track
position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Division of Psychology and Counseling to begin in August 2024. Psychology faculty support an undergraduate program (500 majors and minors), a Clinical M.A. program, and an Ed.S. in School Psychology.
The GSU school psychology program is seeking someone to teach within the Ed.S. program. This person should demonstrate a commitment to: effective, multicultural approaches to teaching and mentoring, serving underserved student populations, integrating peer and student feedback, and working collaboratively and harmoniously with a diverse team of faculty.
Responsibilities will include: assisting with coordination and teaching in the school psychology program; opportunities to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology; maintaining an active scholarship agenda, and service to the university, community, and the profession of psychology.
